He was born in London in October 1935. He dropped out of school early to learn to paint, photograph and draw at Smiths Motor Accessories. As a teenager he worked as a musician whilst designing important album covers. As Art Director and Photographer he worked for the most important fashion magazines such as Elle, Vogue, Harpers, Queen, Flair and Vanity Fair. An innovator both in the field of editorial design and in photography, he is still creating front-page covers for magazines such as The Nouvel Observateur whilst working on photographic assignments for important magazines.
